Fees
How we charge for financial advice
Fees are agreed in writing after a free discovery call. Most work is priced as a fixed engagement rather than an open-ended hourly meter.
| Engagement | Indicative fee |
|---|---|
| Discovery call (30–40 minutes) | No charge |
| Comprehensive Retirement Planning Review | From £1,850 |
| Pension transfer / consolidation advice | Quoted after scheme review |
| Protection & family cover review | Advice fee; commission offset disclosed where used |
| Inheritance & later-life planning overview | From £950 |
| Annual light review (existing clients) | From £450 |
What moves a quote up or down
- Number of pension schemes and whether safeguarded benefits apply
- Whether we must obtain CETVs or chase historic providers
- Joint advice for couples with intertwined estates
- Home visits outside our usual travel radius
- Implementation support after the recommendation meeting
Payment
Invoices are typically split: a portion on instruction and the balance on delivery of the written report. We do not take card payments on this website. Bank transfer details appear on the engagement letter.
What fees do not cover
Solicitor fees for wills and trusts, accountant fees for tax returns, and product charges inside pensions or bonds sit outside our invoice. We flag those costs when they arise.
